In short, a trunk show is a traveling assortment of the designer’s latest bridal gown collection. The trunk show travels to a different bridal salon each weekend after it makes a big debut on the red carpet in April or October. These gowns give the bride an opportunity to try on gowns that may not be in the stores yet. Best yet, brides get to try on a larger selection of the designer’s gowns and receive a 10% discount if they order during the trunk show.
