BLISS by Monique Lhuillier

We are very excited to announce that we will soon be offering a new bridal line
at the Lamp and Lantern store - BLISS by Monique Lhuillier!

The line will offer dresses in the best lace, organza and silk. The line features both Monique Lhuillier's signature embellishments and flair for fashion, but priced for the masses. The collection will range in price from $2,300 to $3,500.

The gowns are scheduled to arrive Mid-December.
We can barely wait!! We will keep everyone posted once they arrive.

We started off our second day at Fall Bridal Market with the
Monique Lhuillier Fashion Show!

It was AMAZING!!
Again, lots of hand-beading, intricate details and cute tailored bow accents.
The theme was "WINTER WONDERLAND" and it was emphasized in every gown.

We have arrived in New York for Fall Bridal Market!!!

After the fashion show we met up with Lea-Ann Belter (our most popular designer) for dinner, drinks and dessert at a great Greek Restaurant. We ate way to much food but really enjoyed our time with Lea-Ann, Karen and Robert.

Fall New York Bridal Market

Cooler temperatures are starting to creep up on us and with that comes Fall Bridal Market!!

We are already setting our appointments and getting our cameras ready to take TONS of pictures of all of the newest gowns that our amazing designers are going to debut! So check back to see photos of the runway shows as we decide what dresses are going to be offered in St. Louis.

Currently on our schedule while we are in New York are runway shows for: Monique Lhuillier, Anne Barge and Priscilla of Boston/Melissa Sweet/Vineyard Collection. We also have one-on-one appointments with all of our bridal designers and bridesmaids collections to see the latest styles. We will be attending a reception given by Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine which is celebrating its 15th year. The reception is at The Plaza Hotel.

We are going to be at market October 17-20th and will try to post new photos as soon as we are back in town!

Town and Country Bridal Boutique at The Plaza

All of the girls at the store have been very busy opening our new location at Plaza Frontenac.

AND WE ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN!!!!

We have been approached by a lot of people wondering if we are closing our original location at Lamp and Lantern Village. We are definitely NOT! We have decided to expand our variety of designers to include more couture bridal lines at Plaza Frontenac. This will help us accommodate more appointments and have more room to display our large selection of gorgeous dresses!

The Bridal Party

Come out and see us at "The Bridal Party" hosted by Plaza Frontenac. The show is on February 21st from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Center Court. It is Plaza Frontenac's 2009 showcase of wedding trends and classic favorites, with experts on florals, wedding photography, beauty, registry ideas, cake bakers and sampling, gorgeous gowns and smart men’s formalwear.

Toni Federici Trunk Show

The Toni Federici Trunk Show was a huge success!!

Our brides were able to come in and talk with Toni and Rachel (Toni's Assistant) to choose their veil and hair accessories. A lot of brides walked out with a completely customized look for their wedding day!

Toni plays with a few different looks.

It was not unusual for a bride to be wearing three veils so Toni could combine characteristics of each of the veils to create the perfect look to compliment the bride's dress.

Rachel shows the different locations to place the top of the veil as well as where to put this FUN ostrich poof.

We had such a great time during the trunk show that we are already looking forward to having Toni and Rachel back to the boutique. We will keep you posted of future dates.

Saint Louis Bride Magazine Fashion Show

The fashion show was a HUGE success! We had a lot of fun putting it together for all of the brides that came out to Wedding Connections.

Wedding Connection Fashion Show

Town and Country Bridal Boutique is very excited to be hosting the upcoming Saint Louis Bride Wedding Connection Runway Fashion Show on January 25, 2009 at Windows off Washington. Wedding Connection opens at 1:00 p.m. and ends with the fashion show that begins at 3:45 p.m.

We are still in the process of reviewing all of our great gowns to chose the finals that will be shown off on the runway but you can expect to see some of our favorites from Lea-Ann Belter, Amsale, Anne Barge, Modern Trousseau, Melissa Sweet and Priscilla of Boston. We are also planning on sprinkling in some of our favorite bridal party gowns and some of our newest Mothers of the Bride/Groom gowns.

We look forward to seeing everyone there - so definitely come out for Wedding Connection and stay for our fashion show!
